Finding the right therapist is a difficult process. Many clients have some anxiety and fear about going to therapy. This is normal. But please do not let that hold you back! Know that deciding to see a therapist is one of the healthiest acts that you can make on behalf o your mental health. Most of my clients come to me through referrals from friends or family members who have seen me and found me to be effective and helpful in helping them overcome the difficulties that brought them to therapy.

I have over a decade of experience in helping clients transform their lives. I have a well rounded training that allows me to treat various dynamics and symptoms.
I utilize a non-judgmental and empowering approach that focuses on helping individuals find their strengths in order to cope with life's challenges. I offer unconditional support to help in healing while actively challenging distortions or behaviors that interfer with progress. I emphasize client input and tailor treatment strategies to clients specific needs using cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic and existential therapy, and well as systemic therapy. I have been given feedback from clients that I provide a good balance between gentleness and challenging.
Past clients comment that they value my professional skills but benefit even more from my warm and down-to-earth style. I feel that I have worked hard to find a perfect balance between care and compassion and offering a challenging environment for my clients. What does this mean? I love to use humor in therapy! I think it is so healing and helps to break the strain of the topics that we discuss. I also love humor that is very logical. This is one of my favorite comics about therapy - it addresses the technique that I use in therapy of helping clients focus on the hear and now and to be in the moment.
